In the Alte Musik in Schwabing (Early Music in Schwabing) concert series, the Svapinga Consort performs programs featuring four centuries of music. Our season concerts present music performed on historical instruments in innovative formats.
The Musica Poetica concerts are presented in cooperation with the Historical Performance Institute of the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München and feature the Institute’s talented students. Individual concert programs are selected over the course of the year and updated on our website.
Entrance for our concerts: recommended 20€ donation
The organizer, the Svapinga Consort e.V. non-profit association, has chosen to rely on voluntary donations instead of charging an admission fee to its concerts so that no one will be unable to attend our concerts for financial reasons. The revenue from these donations it what makes continuing this concert series possible. We therefore recommend a donation of a reasonable amount (at least 20€ per person).
